Yeah, especially this one, below. Sillery looks like a virgin forest!

And MolsonEx will no doubt appreciate the other one with the port terminal, which does a great job highlighting how landlocked the city is (in addition to having no skyline - double un-woot).

I agree, Quebec City looks great from ground level but does not look good from the air. I wish Ste-Foy never happened. All of those skyscrapers could have been downtown with minimal loss of historic buildings.

That's got to be some of the cleanest river water to go through a city. It's definitely an asset to Calgary.

Love the skyline bookending the river in that one shot.

The Bow is definitely a gem, now that the spring runoff is mostly over and levels are coming down, the river is back to it's typical green colour!

The table top feel of the Vancouver skyline has definitely been reduced over the last 10 years.

The butterfly will definitely add another great peak in the coming year or so.

The Stack will also solidify the peak with the Shagri-La and Vancouver's Turn by adding some bulk from this angle.

Love it.

I absolutely love the Vancouver Skyline. Aesthetically, I prefer it to Toronto`s.

Another pretty good shot by Klazu. And yes, there is a pretty decent peak forming on the left side. The Burrard Bridge towers will also add to that.

In the coming few decades we are going to see the gap between VGH and the DT peninsula filled in (from that vantage point). Only question is how high will the City let the towers go along Broadway.

Maybe, but once the Broadway Plan is finalized, developments are going to go up very quickly.

Didn't they just approve a 28 storey tower on Broadway?

The physical presence of tall buildings would greatly alter the look in photos and feel walking around even if their construction didn't result in any heritage building loss. The quality of the new buildings in Ste-Foy are mediocre too.

I Absolutely loved those last Vancouver skyline shots!

I'm undecided on which Canadian city skyline I prefer amongst Vancouver, Montreal or Toronto. Today is Vancouver just because of those last pics.

I find Vancouver's density very impressive, but the building stock is underwhelming. There are some absolute gems (Vancouver House is my favourite highrise in the country), but they're lost in a sea of sea foam green condos. Toronto is easily king in my mind, then I have it as a toss up between Calgary and Vancouver with Montreal closing the gap again finally. Edmonton can enter the conversation if they can keep the momentum going for a few more years.
