Still no updates for Waterfall. Previous post said Starling is not even done with walk-throughs yet.

The interiors look ok in this craigslist post.

Air conditioning!
The heat pump is in the bedroom - I wonder it it would be noisy at night?

The quality looks pretty good! And everything looks just as the brochure renders showed! I'm a bit relieved to see that.

Yea after finally hearing back from customer care last week (after many unanswered emails), I learned that none of the Southeast units have had their orientation as that's the side that had the man hoist, and it was only recently taken down or something along that line. Have some people already closed?

Photos from today:

They put up a building art in front of Starling. I like it! I wonder what building art Waterfall will have. Maybe an actual waterfall?

And closeup of Waterfall progress. They've painted the two side buildings surrounding the Waterfall tower. Does anyone know what they are? Is that the above ground parking?

.....
Now THAT's how you do public art.

I love it.
Looks like something out of a Sci-Fi movie.

There's nothing like a little bit of Rubber-sheet Topology Math to go with art designs.

The never-ending wrought iron balcony railing (but elevated in chrome, rather than 'Starling' black) - part infinity symbol, part roller coaster.
It sort of takes flight - so fitting for Starling / Lumina.
Very cool.

Looks small and dark for 665 Sq-ft. Also I don't like how they dropped the ceiling over the kitchen.

This looks more like the 534 sqft A2 1 bedroom floor plan. I believe including the balcony it’s 666 sqft in total. It says Available August 1 but not sure if A2 East facing units are completed yet.

I remember going to the show room and the showroom looked nothing like the finished product.... They advertised 9 ft ceilings, this place barely has 8ft ceilings. Looks dark and small and a heat pump in the bedroom what were they thinking? The Finishings look cheap as well. However, the exterior of the building does not look bad and I do like the public art piece.

From Waterfall Lumina sales team:

We will be sending a link to book for a homeowner orientation in the next week or so. The developer is anticipating obtaining their occupancy permit mid-August, so completing should commence late August. Due to the sheer volume of homes to complete, completions will be spread out through several days.

Not sure if you're being serious but yes. There is going to be a 2 story waterfall in between Waterfall's front door and the parkade entrance.

Home orientations (30 minutes)

Weekend of July 26-27 : Starling Building (Tower 2): Floors 1-4, Floors 21-25 EXCLUDING any units that have already completed their orientation

Weekend of August 1-3 : Waterfall Building (Tower 1): Floors 4-21 EXCLUDING any unit ending in "01" or "05"

Looks like they most likely will be completed by the end of August for Waterfall and Starling.

Just booked mine as well! Can't wait!

Given it’s only 30 minutes, I assume the walkthrough is only for the unit and they won’t show the amenities and such.

Side note:
I've visited the Brentwood area a few times now and one thing I wish it had were more parks in walking distance where you can have picnics and throw some frisbee or football or basketball. Anyone know if there's a good one nearby Lumina? I only know about the 13 acre park that'll be built beside it, but who knows when that'll be developed...there's still a whole junk yard there currently.

Your best choice will be confederation park. 15-20 mins walk via Willingdon linear park or 5 mins drive.

Better yet a minute bike pedal. Great bike connectivity in the area with bike lanes.

There is also Brentwood Park, that's super pleasant and closer.
