I didn't know DECL was switching locations, but should be better in the long run as their current location is on quite a desolate street.

I don't believe DECL is going anywhere. The locations are still on 103 St.

Just a facelift so they're still there

^ Zebra seems like a total non-sequitur. Am I missing something key here?

Their website explains it all.

Downtown Bay may not close right away. Looking for 6-12 months extension, will become clearance centre for all other Bays in Edmonton. Rehiring most of its staff in anticipation. Not sure on details there yet.

EDMONTON, AB, July 27, 2020 /CNW/ - Imperial Equities Inc. ("Imperial") today has announced it has completed the sale of Oliver Crossing, located at 10304 - 111 Street, in Edmonton, Alberta.

"Oliver Crossing, a likely residential redevelopment site, increasingly stood out as an exception to the Company's growth strategy"

^ That sounds like the site of Prive Lounge near the Louisiana Purchase restaurant.

I'm not clear if it includes the restaurant building or not. The pictures on their corporate site suggest so. I've not been to that restaurant in many years, but enjoyed it back in the day, a nice change of pace and setting.

The Italian Bakery building in Chinatown is getting demolished and rebuilt. It will have more front-end seating and a cafe, much like the Italian Centre. The building design looks good (for a bakery) and will help breathe some new life into Chinatown.

Demolition has started on the old building as well. It'll be great to see another new building (the new Bao An Chinese Herbal Centre opened last year) open on that stretch of 97 St.

Very good news. Glad to see them reinvesting in Chinatown versus relocating.

Now time to see some new investment from some notable local developers!
