BA isn't flying at all to YVR right now, but they currently have a 777 scheduled for August.

Most A380s globally are being grounded indefinitely.

Qantas, for example, is in the process of ferrying them all to Victorville.

AI has another 77W on its way from DEL and another AF also on its way from CDG.

They've closed inventory for all international flights except to NZ until March 2021.

Qantas has removed almost all international flights through to the end of March 2021 from its website – a date which would mark a full year since the airline first grounded its international fleet due to the coronavirus pandemic.

While the flights themselves have not been cancelled, and all previous bookings remain in place, the move prevents new bookings from being made on any overseas Qantas route except for flights to New Zealand.

WestJet reduced YVR-LAX in August to 3x weekly. No other US/International routes are planned.

Yes it's fantastic. Between some of the youtubers and the YVR Spotters page puts what's on FR24 and Flightaware into fantastic images.

Hopefully he will do some more today and tomorrow. He's also good at capturing the special liveries. Some of the shots show the intl terminal almost normal with plenty of heavies parked at the gates.

Another AI on its way from DEL (a 77L this time). Some good pics of the 77W (on the ground now) have been uploaded.

KL, LH and TN (of course) in and out. AF about to leave PPT for YVR again as well so arriving tomorrow morning and on the ground for 2 hours before heading to CDG. Hopefully he will get some of the French Bee flights as well.

So with JL, BR, CI, MF, CA, KE, MU, CX, CZ, NH, PR etc... and the plentiful AC widebodies... all in today/tomorrow more great videos to look forward to.

A380s are pretty much being grounded. They were proving to be too big pre COVID for many carriers. Now they can’t seem to get rid of them fast enough.

For now at YVR it’s just going to be the weekly CZ A380.

From what I heard we probably won't be seeing any 748i's at YVR anytime soon as they need to be gate fitted. It's the same story with the 787-10 as when EVA briefly sent them here they had to be parked on the deicing pad.

Also Air France will continue using YVR as it's tech stop to PPT until the end of August. Service will be boosted up to 3 weekly from August 4th.

Air France in the last few days modified planned operation to Tahiti, for the month of August 2020. The Skyteam member will continue to operate Paris CDG – Vancouver – Papeete service until 01SEP20, with Boeing 777-200ER aircraft. Planned one-stop Paris CDG – Los Angeles – Papeete flight is now delayed September 2020.

Has Icelandair permanently cancelled YVR? I see they listed this route as "service cancelled" last month on Airline Route. I know they're only publishing their schedule month-by-month, but the language used sounds ominous.

Would suck for those of us stuck with FI travel credit and no real desire to route via SEA. Fortunately my booking was for work travel, so at least I'm not personally out of pocket.

Anyways, AC posted their plan for August, Transborder and International resumption includes PDX, PHX, and another attempt at LAS, MEX, and PVG (crew change at ICN)

I only see August details on the long haul routes to Europe or Asia. Routes within NA & Mexico are still blank under August?
