I didn't expect to like the facade that much, nice. Hoping the glass in the mock up is what they use in the real tower. But looking at how 50 west turned out I have high hopes for the final product. I have far lower hopes for the actual completion of this project still though. Different from any other 800 footer in the city which IMO is a plus.

So this project has some life? That mockup looks pretty solid too!

I'm still a skeptic on this project, but I would be happy to be proven wrong.

I think 1000M's design is superior to 50 West.

Very impressive, and has the top of 1000m been revised or is the picture just a better visual than what we have seen previously. Hoping for the best for this project, as it is one of my most favorite projects for downtown Chicago.

Still, looks like no curved glass on this one...cheapens an otherwise promising facade.

Agreed, first time I'm seeing that, does look pretty cheap. The mockup is a better indicator though and still looks pretty good.

^ We knew there wouldn't be curved glass for awhile now. Sucks but I'm over it.

I don't think this render does the building justice as im sure the final product will look curvier and much more elegant if it is completed!

Eh not really that upset, at least we got the bad news over with and no longer have annoying false hope from this shady ass project.

Hopefully someone buys the site and builds something better. This building was sort of ugly tbh.

And make up for their disappointment at the spire site hopefully (who am I kidding they won't)

Not an expert, but at least this foundation looks like it can be used/re-worked easier than the spire site's
