As per the Dundas Place site, starting Monday morning Dundas will be closed from Richmond to Wellington, including the Clarence intersection, for the duration of the project. Talbot should re-open Monday morning, and Dundas between Ridout and Richmond should open by late Wednesday as the Juno stuff is removed.

This is a really great change for the entire Core. They really have done a good job. Is any part of Richmond being redone like between Queen & King?

No, and even the intersection with Dundas will remain asphalt. You never know though, once the time comes to do sewers on Richmond, they might do those couple blocks like this.

Gutter drainage now started east of Richmond. Hopefully they learned from last year and are able to complete work on time for this 2 block section.

LOL, finished in the fall he says. Yeah, last year was technically finished in the fall too. The last day of fall. And looking back over the pictures from last year, it was right at this time that they started laying the concrete base.

Brick installation now started on side closest to Richmond St. Most of the concrete slab is poured on block between Clarence and Richmond. Still dirt east of Clarence.

Story on the news the other night suggests they are falling behind schedule, mainly with the intersection of Clarence and Dundas, where the sub surface infrastructure is causing major headaches. The city official suggested they may end up paving the intersection before winter if they don't get it figured out and come back to it next spring to concrete and brick it.

Clarence St opened up last weekend. Dundas opened today from Clarence to Richmond, city says Clarence to Wellington will be closed until further notice. Also, in the post above, I mentioned that the city suggested they would pave the Clarence intersection and then finish it next year. It has since been decided that Clarence would stay paved for ease of access to services underneath, rather than putting the concrete and bricks on it.

Monday afternoon at 2 outside the library is the "last brick" ceremony with the Mayor, and the road is supposed to be open after that.

Now will all the empty stores and buildings get leased again is the question? And if so how long will it take?

Does the Flex Street include Talbot? Has anyone got any new pics or {even better| vids of the entire stretch? It's been so long since we have had a update and actually seen the entire finished project.

BTW, why did they decide to go we black/grey?
