This is the best I have ever seen of Ottawa .

Can taller buildings go into the CBD to the right of Parliament or are there bylaws that prevent taller structures?

The same law that’s limited buildings there for a century still stands, nothing can be taller than the Peace Tower anywhere in the CBD.

The National Capital Commission has View Planes that protect the view of Parliament.

That said though, there's a proposal at 400 Albert that includes residential towers of 100 and 118 meters. The 118 meter tower would become the tallest in the area by 6 meters. An Ottawa forumer has created images of the skyline from different angles showing how this new development, and another across the street, will impact the CBD skyline. Worth taking a look. It makes a big difference.

Beyond that, LeBreton Flats will be home to some of Ottawa's tallest, with several proposals ranging from 30 to 65 floors.

Drone video of Halifax: https://www.beaconhead.com/videography

Some captures:

Looks like this one was late September 2019 (you can see a collapsed crane from a hurricane that hit September 19).

Looking from the other direction, uphill.

Outdated by about 5 years.

Ottawa's urban west end (Hintonburg, Wellington West, Westboro).

@J.OT13 ^

Nice shots. Representing Ottawa! I wish I knew someone on one of the towers on Bank and Riverside (+/-) That would be an awesome angle to take a Bank street shot, because it's on a bit of a hill near Billings.

Only from certain elevated angles. On the ground there's a noticeable difference and you wouldn't mistake the two.

On ground level Ottawa and Winnipeg couldn't be more different. Ottawa reminded me a lot of Calgary tbh, the CBD portion anyway.

Just wanted to say that every photograph (including those of Edmonton, Vancouver, Ottawa, Calgary and Montreal) on this page is just beautiful. A rare feat.
