Just having a concrete placing boom making an appearance plus 2 or more placing concrete in the same shot is good enough for me.
I him a little bias to the witnessing of a concrete pour

This tower is starting to stand out now.

How many floors left to go?

Thanks!

It’s nice that downtown will actually be adding a few more towers to peak above the rest this year and next.

This will probably be one of the finest tall towers downtown.

Definitely turning out above my expectations.

This along with Vancouver House will have completely transformed the south shore skyline.

Did anyone notice they updated the rendering of the office tower. The facade looks a little different but I’m okay with it.

Although, probably less noticeable, I am also looking forward to the Butterfly, 1550 Alberni, and the Passive House (if approved) start rising as well .

Yeah think those towers, especially the Butterfly, will be very prominent as well.

1550 Alberti, while not as tell, benefits from being relatively tall in its surroundings and like Vancouver House will have a pretty unobstructed view from the water.

Thanks for the rendering - I hadn't kept up to date on that.
The swoopy spandrel bands reminiscent of the Jim Pattison Group logo (as well as fellow Bing Thom buildings, the Surrey Library and the new SFU Surrey building) are now gone (or de-emphasized as I do see some fritt marking the pattern).
- I suspect that those elements were removed following teh death of Bing Thom.
The spiralling fins at the base of the curved turret look like a desperate attempt to reintroduce visual interest.
The angles do, however, remind me of that Gehry office building in NYC.

Pic by me today.

They'll need to raise the crane soon.
A guy at SkyRise Cities said they are on the 44th floor and posted pics from that floor.
