Of the 3 major airports that reported April stats, all were essentially the same level of decline (YVR down 96.7%, YYC down 95.2%, YYZ down 96.9%). One very interesting item was YYC had more domestic pax than YYZ in April. YYC had 65,713 and YYZ had 64,449. I don't know if that has ever happened, probably not? YYC had nearly 100% declines in international and transborder, while YVR and YYZ had
slightly less decline in those sectors, maintaining slightly international services. But still, its splitting hairs at this point, the traffic isn't even relevant when declines are all over 95%! It was the YYC being higher than YYZ in dom pax that really was bizarre, shows how crazy things were in April. May and June should show a slow crawl out of the depths of April, but will still be horrendous
