Even though on here people have said it seems they're behind, apparently they're not. Earls was on a site tour a few weeks ago and possession date of August 2021 is still the plan.

Possibly due to size reduction as the building gets higher? Does the upper structure not need to be less structurally strong as the top load decreases? Perhaps such a reduction allows for a more cost efficient fabrication and assembly process once such a possible reduction were to be allowable? Just spitballing.

Maybe they will be changing steel thickness after these floors. As they go higher, steel gets lighter.

The columns will lighten up as the building gets higher, but usually you would go as many floors as possible on a single column size to try to minimize connections (two or three floors as we have been seeing).

The top of those two storey columns corresponds to the horizontal white balcony thingy in the renderings. Maybe there's something special about that point in the building. Maybe just coincidence.

Would this be the last set of steel (or new set of steel?) before they raise the crane, or will they add another set of steel for two floors, once these next two floors from these steel beams are completed, and then raise the crane?

thinner steel as they are longer luxury apts, but slumlord apts and we don't care if building falls on those type of tenants.

Yesterday evening, they were still working on getting the floors into place. Seems that they were working overtime before today's rain or something.

Either that, or they bring in the next set of steel columns that brings it up another two floors, based on the brackets on the core itself, and the previous set of steel columns we saw installed earlier this week.

Although I drove by the storage lot on Warman and Lag earlier and it appears to be empty.

Can the core move or do they need more concrete? Pump is down so that isn't happening until the crane is braced and raised. Could be a couple week yet.

Hey need to anchor the crane to level 19. That means 2 more levels of steel and grouting. Then everything repeats itself....crane anchor, crane raise, concrete pump replacement, core raise, floor raise

I believe the core has to be raised to fit the hollowcores to the 19th floor (two floors up from current). I believe there was at least a floor or two gap last time they raise the crane.
