Hm, good question. All the e-mail said that I got was "We are pleased to let you know that we’re still on schedule to complete Tower TWO between May 1, 2020 and July 31, 2020"

That's what the pandemic and social-isolation do to previously sane people. You should've seen the "downtown Vancouver" thread where couple of folks are freaking out over the mere mention of a "mini mall" ....

MacDonald's, McDonald's, McDonalds, Macky D.....what's in a name?

But the red "Box" on top of the red horizontal bar seems like a really bad design decision.

Saw a kinda dodgy looking character using the electricity box powering the tree lights at the corner to charge his phone or something.

And another one seemingly high (or low?) and passed out on the stairs at the corner.

Both I saw late this week. Reminds me of one of the Skytrain stations near a uni.

I suppose I should not be surprised to see more of them around TAB in the future.

Indeed many emails that I send to Shape always got the same reply to refer back the the amendment. I never got any specific answer. Especially annoying when I sent them email close to expiry of the last amendment, they send the same old cookie cutter reply to refer to the present amendment, then a few days later I got notified of yet another amendment of further delay. I wish they be more specific this time. If I know I am definitely be end by July 31, I can notify my landlord by July 1, this would save me $2300 in rent which means a lot to me.

not anytime soon. the market is weak, and Shape is too busy with the Richmond centre project

Better for me, I'll have more time having an unobstructed view of the mountains once Tower 3 is complete haha

Practically every development pro-forma has been thrown in the dumpster, because they're now useless. Until someone is able to construct a fulsome and convincing pro-forma in this environment, I'd hazard that virtually every project we've heard of is now in a land of certain uncertainty.

Then why is Shape forging ahead with its City of Lougheed? Aren't they building
4 towers at the same time?

Where did you pull that idea from? Acid trip?

Sites are breaking ground all over the city. Some have had the schedule pushed slightly but the building boom in Metro Vancouver is not disappearing any time soon. I have not done the math but I do recall a recent article that states we are still not building to the current immigration/growth capacity of the area.

I pulled that utilizing more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience and direct conversations with other development companies. You?
