No, not back to the "old" normal as temp checks, self-report of symptoms, and face masks are part of the "new" normal for reporting to work at a worksite.

people's behavior have modified as a result of this. and new guidelines for worksite need to be developed and implemented. this has to be the case until a vaccine is developed and if you go get infected, medicines to treat will also be needed.

BTW...take a walk with your facemask around home depot or lowe's. you will see how some of these businesses have adopted changes to their business practices and how people are walking around with face masks. no longer the stigma to where a facemask.

Or... Don't. Considering the employees are literally begging you not to

Philly tells nonessential construction firms: Stop building or we’ll shut you down

Quote:
Mayor Jim Kenney’s administration has a message for construction firms that continue to work on nonessential projects during the coronavirus pandemic:

Stop building. Or pay the price.

In a letter sent Wednesday to Philadelphia’s approximately 6,000 registered contractors, the Department of Licenses and Inspections warned that they could face stop-work orders and $1,000-a-day fines, and lose their licenses if they continue to flout city and state orders to halt most construction to slow the spread of the virus.

“Nonessential construction includes all construction EXCEPT for the construction of health-care facilities or emergency repairs specifically approved by the City of Philadelphia,” Will Fernandez, L&I’s director of audits and investigations, wrote in the letter. “Unless you have received a waiver that specifically addresses the job site at which you wish to work (not your company generally) you are otherwise not permitted to continue work and must immediately stop all work beyond what is necessary to make the building safe and secure.”

If it were that easy...which is why the city and police dept. need to break up these groups of people out there not following these rules (yeah, right). We've already seen what happened to SEPTA's mandatory mask rule.

These covidiots are prolonging the city's shutdown as we all sit in our homes and otherwise play by the rules. I can't believe the homicides and shootings are still skyrocketing even after a month of complete city shutdown. SMH

Has trump learned to read since he was elected? That wasn't one of his skill sets in the past.
If you can pay 75% of the loan as payroll the loan will be forgiven. Just an update, my employees will not come back to work since they are making more on unemployment than on this program. Therefore nothing will be forgiven. Now I have 2 year term to repay. Even under normal circumstances there is no way that my business will generate cash to repay in that short term. The term needs to be extended to 10 years or forgiven.

Ive not seen any large groups in the city. Perhaps you need to drive around to a wider area. On the news last week they said cell phone data showed Montco residents werent staying at home nearly as much as hoped by officials.

I found this easier to view (and at a more leisurely pace) by downloading to my Mac and then viewing full-screen as a slide show in the Mac Preview app. Thanks TK, very cool!
