I agree. It would beautiful if fixed up. Those large two floor windows, put in ground floor windows and open up a cafe or restaurant or something.

Yes yes yes! It was The Forbidden City restaurant in the 90s. You're right. Core Urban could do it up properly.

I had friends who worked at Forbidden City and South Pacific in the 90s. I always meant to ask them what was upstairs at Forbidden City at that time.

I've never seen an old photo of this building. The apertures facing King are massive. I'm guessing the upper floors were either storage for the original business or perhaps offices...

The covered portions on King were bay windows for upper floor apartments.

Now building the 11th floor. 15 weeks to go till floor 26. Should be topped around July 23rd.
