Indeed

I remember the Kelowna skyline from ~30 years ago and there were only 3 midrises in the picture-that white midrise on the far left and the two Grand Okanagan Resort buildings on the lake which you can barely even see now. Other than that, the city was all just low-rises and no-rises. Amazing transformation

Some shots from downtown today

Took a few pics while I drove through town today.

Ellis Parc

One Water Street from the corner of Ellis and Clement (I spoke to somebody with One72 concrete to see if their schedule has been impacted by COVID-19. He told me they are still on track to top out in late May/early June.) Look to be on level 30 of 36 at this point.

One Water Street from Sunset drive, and (somewhat) recently completed 1151 Sunset drive tower beside it.

One Water street looking south on Ellis

Nearby Packers Junction mixed use development, east of One Water Street on Clement. So much going on in this part of town!

Thanks for the great updates everyone!

It’s so nice seeing Kelowna have a decent amount of dedicated members now.

Hope to make it there myself this August and do my annual photo contribution.

Great shots everyone!

We're working hard on getting Aqua boat house and tower 1 out for building permit by July.

Which tower 1 are we talking about? When you say aqua boat house do you mean aqua resort in the mission?

Yes Aqua, both the boathouse and tower 1 shown here. Tower 2 and 3 are on the waterfront and will be built after.

Nice, hope it is able to get going on schedule

The pockets of towers and random single towers in Kelowna actually give it a slight Japanese vibe to me.

Couple that with the floating bridge and on a summer day a friend of mine who has been to Kelowna (she’s Japanese) said it reminded her of Okinawa. That’s a nice compliment.

Great shots, everyone. I really appreciate the updates.
I was supposed to be back in Kelowna by now, and was planning to take some aerial videos and photos with my drone. Alas, I'm stuck in Seoul until this virus sorts itself out.

There's only one physical level. Not sure if they're going to build a strucutre inside to stack boats on top of each other or not but some boats can be incredibly tall.
