I promised more on the former hoped-for stadium in Boise's West End.

Now I have it for you

Yeah, looks like a nice project and I appreciate the density, but would be nice to see some more mid-rise projects go up on that side of downtown.

Classic. I remember reading somewhere that The Basque Block will be extended through the alley behind these apartments between the row of Old Boise buildings on Main.

The Heart of our City.
A source of dependability in these uncertain times.
It will rise as usual as the snow melts in the Sawtooth Wilderness and Boise Mountains.

Sawtooth, please keep us updated on construction progress.
The river photo makes me homesick.

A question all of us probably have on our minds, is the status of projects currently under construction and those that are to begin this spring and summer.

I'm sure there will be some delays. more importantly is that the workers are able to stay safe and keep distanced.

I'm more curious when stores will finally restock paper supplies. for those of us who did NOT hoard, supplies are starting to get low, and the store shelves are still barren.

Yeah, I had to get up at 6am last Friday and get to Walmart by 7am opening time. There was a little bit of a crowd waiting at each entrance. Naturally, as soon as doors opened, everybody darted right to the TP aisle, including me. Luckily Walmart didn't stock it on the shelves but had it on roll away carts and were handing them out 1 at a time. Definitely helped control the situation. I think if they were on the shelves it would have been a madhouse.

I drove away thinking "I just got up at 6am to get to Walmart and get in line to get toilet paper. In what world did I wake up in?" Just an insane time to be witnessing.

nah, keep the photos coming. we're all holed up in our houses so it's nice to see whatever progress is being made on the projects downtown.

probably won't hear much about new projects for awhile, either.

I guess we will see how this all plays out.

We already know about this for the current year:

This projection is for 2021:

Post-coronavirus home price growth could be highest in these cities

The markets with the strongest forecasts all reside in the western half of the U.S. The report predicts that Boise, Idaho, will see a 7.6% year-over-year price appreciation in the first quarter of 2021. Spokane, Wash., follows at 6.4% as well as 6.3% for Idaho Falls, Idaho, and 5.8% in Sierra Vista, Ariz.

There is more prep work going on at the location of The Corner at Whitewater which is a good sign this building is moving forward.
