This shot made me slightly wet. So I figured it deserved a top-of-the-page post

Very nice Chadillaccc. Love Telus Sky while that Hyatt looks like it's on borrowed time.

Great Calgary shot of the four tallest. Suncor was surpassed in the last boom, but it provides a nice piece of diversity in the midst of the new skyline.

Call me crazy, but Suncor is the best of the bunch.

I've always loved Suncor, but I'd say it's the least nice of the cluster. Telus Sky is nicest/coolest, then Brookfield Place because of the elegance, then The Bow because it's just unique as hell, and Suncor because of its Pomo non-boxy goodness. Definitely all subjective though.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy them all of different reasons, but Suncor was not trying so hard... and BP is #2.

Which one is the brown tower? What is that granite? By far the best looking building there.

Suncor Energy Centre's 215 meter facade is maroon granite. It's more red than brown.

Though I love the tower, I definitely wouldn't agree that it's "by far" the best, but again it is subjective. It's interesting that two people have so far said it's their favourite, as in the past I've seen several people on here call the tower hideous or worse over the years.

I’m calling you crazy.

Suncor does hold a very special place in my heart having witnessed it’s construction while in high school and how it dominated for so long. But for me the ranking of that cluster would be:
1. Telus Sky
2. Brookfield
3. The Bow
4. Suncor

Brookfield is easily my least favorite. Completely devoid of any sort of expression. It reminds me of Bentall 4, after it's been drained of all of its blood.

If they had used any kind of tinted reflective glass, Brookfield would look slick.

I couldn't imagine having a more opposite opinion than this about Brookfield. Reflective glass on a 250-meter tower? Yikes.

Brookfield is a Gem...she's an elegant beauty. Anyone who doesn't think she's the Bee's knees is my nemesis lol.

I've always liked a reddish colour building. It's one of the reasons that Scotia Plaza is my favourite skyscraper in Canada.

I really like all of them but for me it would be:
1. Suncor
2. Telus Sky
3. The Bow
4. Brookfield (even though it's last, I still really like the building)

I'm glad that I did get to see all of them in person last year when I visited the city.
The picture is big so I'll just use a link: https://s1128.photobucket.com/user/DWils01/media/Alberta/DSC07749_zpskmyzoouh.jpg.html?sort=3&o=132

I think I would feel at home in that city. My company is in the process of starting up our Halifax studio in this space. (Founders Square)
