Crews are starting to remove the concrete median east of 99th on Jasper ave, just in front of the convention centre. Any idea?

I'm honestly surprised at just how successful the restoration of the old Land Titles Building has been so far. When the stucco was first stripped off last year the brickwork was in abysmal shape, especially on the western face which had a huge crack running through it. They've done an excellent job patching it up. I am curious about the holdup on the stucco removal on the east annex though — it's been in that state for more than half a year now.

Quick question: is the Jasper Ave redevelopment project at 100th - 97th Street restarted? Can't see anything definitive on the City's website, but they've taken a half decade break since the first phase.

Construction begins today actually, on both stretches - 97 to 100 Streets and 109 to 114 Streets. Both sections of Jasper Ave will be reduced to one lane in both directions, with lanes set to reopen next winter.

Construction should be less disruptive over the next month or so since most people are now working from home.

Thanks for the info, been looking forward to this for awhile. While there have been great developments downtown, the public space is very old, tired and crumbling; definitely does not give a good impression. I won't comment on the light standards....
