It's big compared to condo towers.

Actually I think those are the old VIA floorplans. I haven't seen any showing the Kohn Pedersen Fox design.

On the ROYAL LePAGE site https://www.stanleylamprec.com/build...0-granville-st they have 8 High-Speed Elevators with 2 Dedicated Parking Elevators. I can't say what is accurate.
I'd say that core as drawn is comparatively very small for an office building. It's only 1,200 square feet.

The Crystal across the street, at a lower floor count, is nearly twice as big.

And both eight elevators.

Thanks for the design update.

I now understand the difference from a condo and office tower core (the need to move office workers and client efficiently...Time is money)

and that is why the little 15 floor building, the Qube, has 4 elevators. it was originally a office tower. another reason, office towers are assets on a companies books. condos are an expense on a developers books.

Wow - I did not expect this one to be steel frame!
BUT - I see:
- rebar poking out the top of the steel columns
- a concrete column in the last shot

So... will they be pouring a concrete slab above those steel columns?

Thanks.

PS - what's up with the pixelation of the 333 Seymour facades?
Panes being replaced?

Horizontal banding
The original aesthetic of the tower, which
emphasized a strong horizontal banding
through an even ratio of spandrel to vision
glass, has been blurred by the degradation
of the existing back-film on the spandrel
units, causing the spandrel glass to read
similar to the vision units.

If you look at the sides you can tell which parts of the building got the most sunlight.

Great set of photos: thanks. Feels like the times in the early 1900s when steam powered almost everything, with the consequence of soot and smog everywhere.

Thanks for the update. Still slow going as they finish the over-height lobby floors but should start to grow quickly now that they have reached the office plates.
