The tower crane segments were sitting on Graham last night in the staging area.

Looks like you're suffering from premature crane erection, you should have that looked at.

Yeah, I get excited but then someone splashed a snow storm on it and it calmed down.

Understood, a cold shower usually does the trick.

Sure, get our hopes up!

The snow storm didn't help either, I guess.

Today would be a perfectly fine day to raise a crane. It would be a nice Friday present.

All the pieces are there and I was told this week (actually Wed) so it makes sense it would be this weekend. Much too windy today unfortunately.

I walked by that building earlier today, first time I've seen it with the scaffolding down. It's interesting, it looks more or less the way it did before just with more glazing. It does not resemble the earlier renderings at all. It looks less glaringly 1980s but still doesn't really look 'new' the way that 360 Main did. It's kind of odd.

I also noted that they inserted windows into the west side walls... I wonder why they never did that from the outset?

Shear walls, hollow core and grouting all recently completed to facilitate jumping the crane today and tomorrow. Here she goes!

Looks like the climbing mechanism has come up, no doubt in order to anchor the crane to the building.

Looks like this thing is going up finally!
