I happened to be going by when they were loading the temporary support pillars onto the flatbed truck. I'm impressed with how big the setback and cantilever is to allow the view of the library from the sidewalk along Georgia.

On the Homer side (and symmetrically on the alley side), I think each cube on the next level will be skewed to the left of the ones below.
It's getting hard to see where they'll go.
At 23(or 24) storeys, the cubes being assembled now will take them to half way.

In McMinsen's first pic you can see the angle of the main cantilever for the upper storey cube is wider than for the cube below it and it has a skinny one closer to the core. So each cube looks like it'll be a differently sized set of cantilevers.
The crane segment was unloaded next to the Georgia Street crane.. And I guess the crane next to the theatre doesn't have that thing to insert a new tower segment into the crane so it was the Georgia crane that was raised?
I think the "insertion segment" (whatever it is called) can be added later.
When it was added to the Georgia side crane, I saw it sitting in the Car-to-Go parking lot.
I think the Georgia side is the staging area for deliveries.
Elevator 1 is the freight elevator. Only four elevators go above floor 23+. And there's a firefighter roof elevator on level 23 as well which I've never seen before (it's located outside of the concrete core)
Weird - use elevator in case of fire (?).
2 banks of 4 is the same as Cathedral Place.
Cathedral Place is 355,000 sq ft, so very slightly smaller than this building, and just under 10 FSR, so a lot less dense (this is nearly 18 FSR). Maybe early 1990s elevators were a bit slower as well?
