Sounds good. Which building is that?

That's 63 Albert. Other side of the street.

The parkade actually has a lot of potential, for some bizarre reason Harvard doesn't want to lease out the empty space in it. Other than the grad dress store they're giving free space. Maybe all the work happening at 201 Portage will make them change their tune.

In other news, anyone know what's going on at the Electric Railway Chambers building? Scaffolding has been around the sidewalk for almost a year, and there's never anyone doing work – what are they attempting to do?

It wasn't any different under the building's previous owners... maybe it was different in the 90s, but for as far back as I can remember (back to about 2000 or so), that site hosted a gym before GoodLife set up shop. It was never used, to my recollection at least, as street-facing CRU units. I understand that these days it could be a tough sell now that that end of Albert is a bit of a wasteland with most of the buildings either boarded up or burned down, but even 15 years ago when it was much livelier there was still no interest in leasing out the spaces as shops. It would be nice to see that change.

I drove by last night and it was quite shocking to see. Big change to the landscape.

Is it possible to embed live video into the market lands thread? Or maybe just have it load a static image of the video whenever you load the thread page?

That stinks. I hope something nice can be built there sooner rather than later...

Unfortunately it will become parking for the adjacent building forever. (As a permitted use).

I highly doubt it! Not with the amount of development happening in the area.
