I totally don't remember it being a Luby's. I didn't realize that. I do remember the Pancho's. It was one of the places we visited often back in the day. I haven't been able to find anymore around Austin, but there are two in Houston. We haven't been, but I would love to go sometime when we're in Houston.
Our neighbor also ran a beauty salon in the corner shop at Twin Oaks. The last time I was over there you could see where the sign still stained through. Our neighbor owned that place and worked as a bank teller downtown. She passed away about 5 years ago. I mowed her yard for her for years, and was friends with her granddaughter who lived with her.
