FedEx just broke ground today on Castlegar's airport lands for a ten thousand square foot ground handling warehouse.

The local company with the contracts for UPS and Amazon are also building a ten thousand square foot warehouse here.

And just today Canada's first craft cannabis park just announced also on our airport lands.
60 to 70 7000 square foot units.
Up to 800 jobs at full build out.

Whiteshack Condos...Yonge and Eg

This project hasn't been updated in a while, even though I work and live close by...anyways I took these today from my cell phone...this was from the library entrance,

It's nearly topped out, I think the mechanical is left...but all in all the tower certainly could be better.

A project called Richmond Yards has been under construction for a while in North End Halifax. The main tower will be 30 storeys.

Rendering. It looks a lot nicer than the older projects built nearby.

It's like a faux-nondescript-60s apartment building!

T'aint turning out as bad as I feared it would. A welcomed addition to the skyline as the tallest residential-only towers in the prairies.

West Village 1 & 2 - 150 meters x2 - 41 storeys x2

You know why this one would be shorter? Because materials are gorgeous and expensive.
It's the same all over our civilized world. I think even in NYC, this thing couldn't really be any taller.

It's a university building that adapted an existing structure as it's foundation. It probably wouldn't be any higher in Manhattan.
