Well, their store window does say Spring 2020. I suppose it's delayed like the Starbucks at Brentwood. The store window sticker had been around for quite a while already too.

wow the London Drugs is open. Thanks for all the pics.

Also what is that brown thing that looks like a container?

What's the space above Fresh St Market?

It has its own address 1471, not sure if it's a small space or if it continues into a larger room into the building.
Good space for an outdoor patio.

I couldn't get a good pic but I had a peek inside the Autostrada space and I can confirm that it is still a raw space with exposed cinderblock walls.

Also, there seem to be partitions on some of the balconies facing Beach Avenue that have copper coloured ends facing the outside (third pic).

Thanks!

Sign placement for Fresh St. Market is a bit odd.
You'd think the east side sign would be over the alcove with the entrance
and the north side one could be on the west side at the corner for better visibility from a distance.

A container pop-up store location - permanent, as far as I know.
There will be a few scattered around the project.

That just looks like an extension of one of the planned retails and not one of the promised containers?

I thought it was one of those containers because it juts out from the line of the facade, but the one pictured in the article is smaller and free-standing.

I briefly poked my head into it - doesn't appear to be bigger than what you see from the outside/open into the building

thanks for the answers, I've seen it in person and it didn't have the little glass fence at the time. I will check it out in a couple of weeks.

Too bad the patio of that "container" isn't directly under the bridge deck. Hence they won't be able to use the space in all weather conditions unless they have their own shelter later.

What is the need for so many vents along Howe street?
Could they not have at least have tried to disguise them any better with landscaping?

I noticed the vents too. I was wondering if all of those ledges were vents or only some of them.

I guess I naively thought each alcove was a unit (?).
There seem to bee copper walls at the ends of each alcove too.

One noticeable problem, though, is that the swing out doors will mess up furniture placement on some balconies.

Long Table Distillery

Word on the street is that Long Table Distillery is moving in.

http://longtabledistillery.com/

Was going to post an image, but don't know how.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Upload and host the pic on a service like Imgur (its free).
Go to "Get Share Links" in the upper right corner.
Copy the link for posting on bulletin boards that includes the [IMG] coding.

Seemed like they got the rezoning approved last year for the distillery.

Incredible to think that this project is now completed and people and businesses are moving in. It felt like such a long waiting but then somehow the ending was very fast. Or that's how it feels like when not living right next to it and seeing it that regularly.

Everything came out very nice and this is definitely a landmark building to be proud of!
