Q4 - Fintech is moving into the 2nd and 4th floor of the currently renovated 59 King St E. The Olympia
They also have plans in the near future that include settling into another location (new construction) downtown for the same business, that will require three times as much space as what they currently have leased at The Olympia.

I really hope to see some announcement of the properties between the Pigott and CIBC, in the near future.

I was in Spain for a couple of weeks recently... the density is clearly a difference from our fair Gotham though I will defer to the historical trends on that. But the fact empty properties have remained empty for so long in Hamilton is a clear disappointment, personally and in comparison to España.

The man who owns that land is sitting on it until he can get the max profit for it - don't blame him really.

Imperial parking canada corporation ran it when it was a parking lot I believe, not sure now. Yale properties owns the lot next door to it where they demolished the bank..

Well we all know giant phallic monuments are supposed to convey a bit of intimidation so I suppose on that front they won hehe..

Found this cool image for the pier redevelopment and the surrounding area - if you look at bayfront park as the head - it looks like a canada goose spreading its wings in both directions:

(Pardon my crappy mspaint over but you get the idea.. I really think the city should capitulate on this natural formation to allude to the canada goose - esp. since so many canada geese end up here - esp. around williams pub area)

What gets me is the rail park redevelopment - how is that going to work? Where is all that rail going to go? Will that affect the rest of the tracks? I am curious to see more of that.. it'd be really nice to see that land reclaimed though.

Also I totally forgot they demolished this entire area for the proposed stadium, and that it still remains empty, and thus prime real estate for this area as well:

Yep, this is, by a country mile, the most exciting thing that's happened in Hamilton in years.

I would imagine that the Rail Yard Neighbourhood is a bit of a fantasy. It would be contingent upon the rail yard disappearing which I don't believe is in the cards for the foreseeable future.

lol yes I actually am an artist - I was just too lazy to put a lot of work into my doodle haha..

and of course - I'm also a seasoned corniceseur

to be honest most of what was shown is already there - the pedestrian path already exists - all that would change are the neighbourhood road, actual buildings and some greenery.
