Guess I"ll say it again. We've seen the models already that correspond with the graphic. We could see 10 new renderings of 10 different designs for this tower. Doesn't mean a thing. Go with what you already know unless proven otherwise.

Sometimes developer portfolios aren't updated right away with what is the most current design. Example of this in the day was 3 WTC where the design on the portfolio was not what was current (was still showing the old height and cross bracing).

3 Hudson is another example (with the ever changing designs on that tower).

But it serves to give us an idea in a way. Although I like the cross bracing/diamond look, but one of many outcomes until its legit official.

^ I wouldn't put Chase in the category of developer. This is their tower, and I don't believe Foster would just throw out his finished product on some random website without details.

I agree. Not to mention, Chase does not need to VE anything.

from that n-s render it is definitely a new yorky type tower.

i bet the quality of materials will be off the charts -- we'll see.

I'm sure this has been said before but someone took San Francisco's Embarcadero Center and stretched it 3 times as tall... that rendering makes the facade look more boring though, hopefully it's nicer like the first ones we saw

I see that 245 Park has a bit if paint damage.

They should fix it if it isn't also due for the wrecking apparatus.

245 Would look sweet with a reclad. I'd keep her ivery/bronze color scheme, but in metal and glass instead of brick. That would be a fresh new update which still leaves the building recognizable. Please, no more replacing multihued and/or textured facades with blank glass walls!
