I would really love it if the cantilever was removed.

Other than that, Im thrilled it's not another jenga box design. This more traditional design is better suited to the area.

It's also refreshing to see masonary and pre-cast that goes from the ground level up 15 floors without any contemporary glass "cutouts" or all-glass on the ground level.

I love the (what appears to be?) metal window frames. Nice proportions and barely noticeable inset balconies too. 8/10

The massing is terrible. At least the front looks better than the rear. Looks like every other development

What a hulking monstrosity. Looks like it was vertically stretched...and that cantilever is rather silly. The design is restricted, but standard for the other luxury projects down the road.

The rear looks fine to me. They've done a good job of creating a massing that transitions through to it's immediate neighbours.

They should have hired me to do the editing on this video, but despite the lack in quality it has some pretty good insights into just how dramatic Kelowna’s transformation currently is, and if this project moves forward, how much is still yet to come.

If things continue I honestly think that Kelowna will be in the running for having the most dramatically changed skyline in Canada between 2015 and 2025. (Relative of course before anyone starts that debate)

I do appreciate the transition but, it's done very sloppy. The balconies/terraces are just the icing on this ersatz cake.

Apparently the groundbreaking for the new Centre for Child and Adolescent Mental Health is sometime this week. It's really nice for being a provincial medical building. They're supposedly taking a new approach toward the treatment of youth mental health concerns.

It's basically just a slightly nicer version of Edmonton's newly revitalized Central Library. Must be the exact same designer.
