There's probably a clause in the purchase contract that states if the project is not completed by XXX date, then you can request for the sale to be canceled and the deposit returned. Probably no one will actually do this, since there is so much positive equity for the future owners.

"92% of homeowners ranked their experience at The Amazing Brentwood higher than their walk-throughs at other projects"

and let's not forget....

Good location - easy access from neighbouring condos projects to teh west and visibility from the street.
I guess it'll have seating, rather than being a fast food / food court set-up.

From City of Rain Oct 10th.

They obviously expected the concourse to be open to the public in early October -
some of the mesh on the fences says "Sporting Life opens October 17th")

In the first pic, those plywood sheets at the tops of the fountains must be temporary in place of railings.

In the second pic - seriously?
The sidewalk along Lougheed in from of the VanCity/Tower 2 has not been improved with planters and bike path yet?
Is it that hydro transformer that's in the way?

If you check the story from TAB’s instagram, they are giving away Starbucks gift cards since today they opened the plaza.

I think the amenities are open along with Sporting Life and the plaza. I haven't had time to go down and look yet.

Dropped by the plaza on my way to the train today. Skytrain bridge is now open too. Fountain running as well.

There's a list of stores/food places opening. Including Neptune resto, Saboten, Bubble Waffle. No immediately recognizable European or Japanese brand except H&M that I saw.

I received a little Now Open flyer and TAB cookie from very nice promo lady. Teehee!

From the plaza/Skytrain level where I was the Cactus Club side corridor was still closed off. That's the one I expect will lead quickly to the old mall. Left side of the fountain was open. I guess that exits to the Willingdon side. So I don't think quicker access to the old mall is available yet.

From the looks of it access to residents coming and going to skytrain were opened. As that side of the fountain was clear, no fence.

Dropped by at lunch.

There's gonna be alot of awesome eateries as they've promised.

Neptune (depending on whether it's the seafood house or just the wonton noodle shop), OEB, Small Victory, Gram Cafe, Saku are all excellent spots.

Peeked into the Starbucks Reserve and it looks like it's just about ready to roll. Sporting Life is open

Delays aside I'm stoked.

The parkade is going to be pay parking, not sure how I feel about that depending on how much they charge...

is it Saku or Saboten? there's no way this mall can succeed with no free parking for customers

Paid parking?? That’s upsetting. Hopefully it is like Metrotown where they have one floor that is pay parking from m-f.

It’s a mall after all! People shouldn’t need to pay to park while they shop
