I agree with you, to a certain extent. The keywords being inexpensive and quick.
Let's go through some options in the Lansdowne area:
Whole Foods: Gourmet food but at a gourmet price i.e. fairly expensive for what you get.
Joey's: Not quick enough. Also a bit pricier.
Local: Not quick enough.
Jack Astors: Not quick enough.
Craft Beer: Not quick enough.
Sen Asian Cuisine: Not quick enough.
Industria Brasserie: Not quick enough.
Kettleman Bagel: This is quick and inexpensive. So this gets a passing grade!
By "not quick enough" I mean showing up to Lansdowne and getting a quick bite (half an hour or less) before a movie at the cinema.
