In both the PAPP and FACT Finding plan reviews they reference 333-377 N 2nd Ave next to the project number, so I think it’s one (hopefully massive) project.

I saw that post - should have put two and two together.

Yes, it's the entire parking lot. The reason for the range of addresses is the lot is a bunch of small parcels.

Story about the land purchase just north Of park central. No mention on plans for the parcel, I’d imagine ideally they’d like to develop it.

Quote:
Cushman & Wakefield announced that Masyno Osborn, LLC (Anthony Bibars) of Coolidge, Ariz. purchased 2.34 acres, at 3500 N. 4th Avenue in Phoenix, Ariz., for $5 million, from Phoenix-based Seventh Camel, Inc. (Kerry Knight).

Located at the northwest corner of Osborn Road and 4th Avenue in the Central Corridor, the opportunity consists of 100,188 square feet of developable land. The 2.34-acre development site is near the Valley Metro Light Rail and at the center of the Central Corridor among new residential, restaurants, and healthcare, education and research campuses.

Mark Bramlett, David Fogler and Steven Nicoluzakis of Cushman & Wakefield represented the buyer in the transaction.

“It was a pleasure working with all the parties involved in this challenging transaction. We all look forward to the return of midtown’s genesis and the grandeur of the Park Central Mall,” said Bramlett.

Isn't this the lot where a couple of 600+ footers were floated around?

No, this was the lot for O4, a townhouse development that never got off the ground. You can see the parcel outlines in Google Maps and the fading paint of their logo like the relics of a forgotten past.

Almost forgotten: it's like opening a time capsule.

Townhomes would be good for this location

Ahh, my bad. I didn't actually have time to read the article and misinterpreted Obadno's post as the North parking lot of Park Central which at one time or another, there were some towers shown in a rendering or something. My bad!

In the doldrums some major height was proposed for Park Central, like somewhere in the 700' range. I think that was before Hoalualua (sp?) got into that project.

Oh yeah well that was also when either Midtown or Biltmore were getting a Trump Tower and Toll brothers were building 2 50 story condo's at Thomas and Central.

Oh 2006 ! How I miss you so.

This one was a recent site plan rendering...after the remodel of Park Central started. We actually discussed it here somewhere. It wasn't a proposal though. Probably just placeholders for a potenital buyer. I'll see if I can dig it up.

Are you getting this mixed up with the Indian School/Central Proposal?

Nope, Park Central. I could only find one mention of it. The rendering or site plan I had seen before, I can't find it now. But it was 3 687' towers on the Noth lot of Park Central. No real proposals. Anyway, that's what I was confusing you had posted earlier was.

The old project, which I seem to recall from around 2010, is in their rezoning packet which seems to have been taken down, but they're still talking about 680 feet in the center of the lot.

Did some loops around Downtown at lunch.

The Filmore has work going on at both sides of 5th ave. Im guess they will be doing some kind of work on both parcels, today they had a water truck going back and forth

X Phoenix is assembling its 2nd tower crane Hines is really moving quick.

I posted about Fillmore a couple of days ago. Unfortunate the West block (west of 5th) is only for construction equipment simlilar to the block that's fenced off for Wexford. Phase 1 is the East block of 5th. Not sure what all phase 1 includes. The block is huge, so I hope it's the whole block and not 1 or 2 structures.

Two cranes for X is going to look great coming in from Westbound I-10. On a side note, I'll be staying at the Sheraton tomorrow through Sunday. I'll try to grab some update pics

St. Lukes Downtown is closing.

Maybe a future redevelopment opportunity
