Dueling Skyline

When capturing this latest video, was thinking of this past post by owenhujb

Awesome shot! Would you happen to have a panorama of Metrotown + Brentwood skylines in one picture?

No, but you can stitch this one 👇 The Amazing Brentwood thread http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=201196&page=196 with the other to get all 3 skylines in one frame.

Ask and ye shall receive.
A new Challenger enters the Duel ! (** cue Street Fighter "New Challenger" sting**)

Sorry in advance about the stretched monitor. But these are panoramic photos sooo...
If anyone can reformat it to be smaller and fit, feel free to do so.

The perspectives are a bit fudged because the two photos were taken with different zoom factors and possibly different locations and definitely different angles.

Which means in one of the images (the Brentwood one) show Downtown a bit farther away than the other one, so the stitched image favours the Downtown location shown closer in the Metrotown image.

You can even see part of Broadway with the Vancouver General Hospital just peeking over the right shoulder of the Metrotown part.

Use Zepfan's latest image posted instead.
(above my comment)

You can at least make out North Van (or parts of it) in that one, which gives a better overall picture.

From City of Rain Sept 8th.

On the last pic you can see the brackets where the diagonal fins will attach to the curtain wall of the office block.

It really does change the whole vibe of Edmonds and Kingsway. That little office tower especially is now a bit of a landmark. Driving east down Kingsway and north up Edmonds it looms over the intersection.

May have been my last day today

Feeling nostalgic today. This is were I would begin working on a site, then through out the year or two, work my way to the top of the project.
Today may have been my last day at Kings Crossing. Video footage - June 27, 2018 and Oct 31, 2018 in the same area. (In the video it should read Oct 31, 2018)

They've started installing the diagonal mullions (not really fins) on the office block.

An Encore Appearance Today

Geez! I was working the site today and didn't even notice the diagonal mullions. The next time I'll check it out.
Worked The north side penthouse of Tower 2 (Feature Tower), it was the last suite in the tower being dry-walled.
For the past week or so, tenants have been moving into Tower 1 (Edmonds Tower).
Again, when asking about the grocier, Buy Low Foods was mentioned.
The Bank (not sure which bank) are going to start setting up and occupying 2 floors of The Office Tower in a couple of weeks, The bank's branch at street level I think will be a little later (still work to be done on accessing).
That's the info I got today from co-workers. *(All info is subject to change or misinformation)*
