Eternally Empty Parking Deck

That massive parking deck (across from the Standard) has to be the most underutilized deck in the city. I never see it being used, or at least nobody ever seems to park on the top floors.

If that structure is ultimately razed, I wonder if the City would require the developer to save the establish tree canopy along the sidewalk – those trees must be 30+ years old.

Unfortunately I fear that that deck will get more usage/revenue from Anthem/Norfolk Southern employees soon once those projects are occupied. So, this deck might be around for a while.

It is being used. It is used by NCR as an overflow lot, and the only place contractor employees can park.
