The top levels of parking usually go to retail parking.
And the project does have a lot of retail square footage.

Yeah, like $10-20 per floor.

It depends. Tower 1 and 2 are on P5. Phase 3/4 is on P1-3.

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but you also get from TELUS 1 year free Internet 300/Optik TV Essentials/Home Phone on a 2-year term.

Do you guys think SHAPE is going to fix the paneling at the theatre? It looks unfinished to me and it has been like that for a long time..
Just random spots missing panels

In the bottom pic it looks like a deliberate speckled pattern.

I thought that it might have been deliberate for a while.
If it is, I'm disappointed. It looks unfinished to me. They could have done a better job at re-arranging the speckled pattern if that is the case.

I like the speckled look.

Will the mall part open soon or before the Sporting Life opens? They are having their opening October 17, like 4 weeks away. Or will they just open the mall the day Sporting Life opens? or have access to Sporting life only? any ideas?

I expect the common areas would be open to provide access to the older parts of the mall.
The individual storefronts would open up as their finish their leasehold improvements.

I don't expect it's the same as a new mall, where you need "critical mass" of new stores to open before you allow people in
- here there's already a lot of stores in behind that have been waiting for the front to be finished.

The International Trade Centre in Richmond is worse in terms of speckling.

I just want to be able to walk around the new part, don't need stores yet, not expecting for it to be any good till next summer for shopping.

I will be home first week of October fingers crossed we can access something.

Oh god! That is so bad!!!
I just don't think the speckling effect works well if the panels are too large. It looks unfinished and awkward.

Also hoping they fix this broken piece soon.. it wasn't originally like this

Maybe a sign support will be installed in that slit and them patched up?

I kind of wonder if the missing panels aren't for anchor store signage - eg one for Cineplex/VIP Room, one for Sporting Life, etc. mounted directly in place of the silver panels. I think that'd look good to throw off the existing mosaic pattern.
