Only got up to 11C in Moncton today with drizzle.

15C tomorrow, but the low tomorrow night is projected to be only +1C.

Even worse in Saint John. the low there is projected at 0C (at their airport).

It's too soon to even think about being added to the freeze list, so I hope we survive.

After tomorrow, the heat returns, with the reminder of the forecast period showing highs in the vicinity of 25C.

Now 30 with humidex at 37!

Almost long for some cool dry Alberta air!

20C and sunny today. Slightly below average but OK day nonetheless with the beautiful sunshine.

Chilly this morning with a low of 9C.

The warmspot was Dauphin, MB at 33.7C.

Winnipeg had a incredible low of 21.6C this morning.

A balmy low of only 21.6C at Winnipeg airport this morning, 2nd warmest Sep minimum on record here (only Sep 1 1929 at 22.2C was higher) It’s also the latest date with a minimum of 20C or higher in the city since records began in 1872 (prev latest date was Sep 15 1908 at 20.0C)
BTW-Unless we get some of that heat, this September will be the first for MTL since 2013 where we have no low above 20C. Even worse, our mildest low this month so far is a PATHETIC 13.8C. Hopefully this changes soon.

As of today for the interior of BC only Osoyoos has yet to go below 10.

Ashcroft and the canyon went below yesterday.

Summerland today.

After a first amazing week this September has become hilariously — in BC.

Also 4 times now the long range forecast had sun and warmth returning (at one point even showing 30s again) and all 4 times the sun and heat was as slowly reduced and simple mild days of sun and cloud in the middle of those forecasts have grown to 3 or 4 day long deep lows of very cool conditions.

Oh well, spring was great and summer was decent.

Ya we only hit a rounded 15C and wet today. It's good for the ground to get a good drink that's for sure.

Warming up to a more typical high of 20's and lows in the low double digits on friday in NB. Just in time for me to get back from the arctic. There is frost every day up here. Northern SK and NWT.

Saint John has been added to the freeze list (I will update this evening). It got down to -0.1C at the airport there last night. Moncton and Freddy dodged the bullet, but it is supposed to be cold again tonight before the warm-up starts tomorrow.

Sunny and prefect weather forecast this whole last week of September in Saskatchewan, prefect weather for farmers harvesting which makes up for the cooler summer weather this year. Interesting thing to note that The Prairies had five months, almost 120 days with temps in the 30C temperatures, which is more than any other part of Canada.

"The Prairies". Compared to what? Single provinces? Kind of a large geographical area there!

Calgary only had a handful of days about 30C. In the low single digits, I believe.

Edmonton (Edmonton International Airport) didn't crack 30 this summer.

EDIT: Actually Saskatoon Int'l only has maybe 10-15 days above 30C this summer too. Regina looks about the same. Winnipeg looks to be the most consistently hot, but even then, 30C+ on a handful of days.

So what this means is that "somewhere" on the Prairies got to 30C on 120 days this year?

I've also heard that Planet Earth is warming too, but there is precious little evidence of that in the Maritimes.

This could be a humidity argument too. For what that's worth.

But it was humid!

Come to think of it, perhaps he's specifically referring to Maple Creek.

Edmonton got their's in May.

Where are you, are you in the arctic or Northern SK? I didn't know anywhere in SK was getting frost every day.

I've been checking the weather most mornings lately to see if any risk of freezing since i have tomatoes i planted late and wanted to get as much as I can from them, so far so good.

If you round any temperatures of 29.5 or more up to 30, Ottawa had 21 days of 30C or more this summer. There have been no 30-degree days since Aug. 19 in Ottawa.

Overnight low was 21 in Winnipeg last night, looks like a stretch of 20's for the next week unless the western flow prevails and we get the cold Alberta air!

Nope! Windsor started with 30C days on May 24th and our last one so far was on Sept 13th, 24 30C plus days so far this year.

Of coarse, 30C in the humid east feels much hotter than 30C in the dry west.
