Really good progress on solar panel installs on office building. They were finishing up the 10 floor elevator and stairwell concrete shafts on apartment building today.

Also not nearly as exciting but the solar parkade garage is about done, it sort of sits behind the 4 story office building and between the main West 5 building and the animal clinic.

They are also digging for the foundation of the retirement building which is right on the corner of Riverbend & Shore Road.

Was over there today and took this pic. View is from the parking lot at the west end of the West 5 building (corner of which is the extreme right edge of the photo), looking north east.

Concrete footings poured for next building on Shore Rd. Even have the base for a tower crane set.

Sifton took down the tower crane for the 10s apartment building today. The new building still is working on the underground level and pouring footings.

Alot of concrete pours for L1 level of the retirement building. Should be forming the ground level slab within the next few weeks.

4 story office building floors were all lit up on the weekend. Any indication of whether they have leased any space to tenants yet.

Progressing on exterior brick on east side of apartment building. Retirement home is still in the pit working on the foundation posts and walls. They haven't yet poured the L1 floor slab. The office building appears vacant with no action on any tenants as of yet. Sifton may be asking too much per sq meter at this point.

No question they are asking to much, but they do not seem to mind at the moment. I think they are getting so many incentives to build this community that will be sit on space for when the demand is there.

The electronic sign up on the side of the new office building has as one of its rotating messages "West 5 Physio Now Open". But not sure if that is in the new building or the existing Sifton building. The building certainly does look empty from the front, but I haven't looked at it from the west side after dark when the building is all lit up to see if there is anything on that side.

For some reason I thought there was at least 1 secured tenant for the 4 story office building but now I am questioning myself.
