Phuket has amazing beaches. It's really nice that you appreciate the beauty of Phuket. I suggest you try Chiang Mai too they have superb beaches there too.

Late response ( sorry ) - we're thinking about going to Thailand again this winter..

You say Chiang Mai have beaches but isn't that a city in the north far far away from the ocean?

We're thinking about Ko Samui or Krabi..

How are local people doing, Freki? I see only Europeans on the beaches... Locals wouldn't join them for fun?

I know that's no longer our fault. It must be some local regime mistreating their own people.

^while it is of course tourist areas I'd say the locals was fairly well represented on the city beaches.. certainly to the same extend locals are in Denmark's tourist zones..

Of course in the national park there isn't locals on the beaches or land as there is no one living on the small islands..

As for the regime it's by no means perfect, but the general population are luckily a lot better off then many other people in Asia - as while crazy their new King is still not as crazy as Trump

I remember very well some time ago, they were talking about some ugly European pigs taking advantage of poverty over there for their weird (completely illegal) 🞵🞵🞵🞵🞵🞵 fetishes... It all sounded shameful and outrageous, to say the least.

Needless to say, I believe you're a much better, balanced and normal individual. Nothing to do with sick pigs, so it's cool to see you spending a bit of money over there.

( you might be thinking about Burma and Cambodia.. while prostitution in Thailand is prominent, I do think the police cracks down hard on illegal things such as under-aged and such.. while some of the neighboring nations doesn't )
