The Mark is flying up. Will have a big impact on the areas walkability as well as the skyline. I wonder if condo prices at Aqua and Plaza Midtown cool off from the increase in student housing and blocked views.
It won’t be blocking any views at Aqua. Also since when does further development in an area depress real estate views. Don’t see prices falling at all.

Plenty of units in Aqua have some western facing views. Don’t know why you’d suggest otherwise. This second unit even shows the crane for the Mark, with more units even closer to the west/The Mark. https://www.redfin.com/GA/Atlanta/20-10th-St-NW-30309/unit-804/home/24584789
Also, Atlanta isn’t your typical real estate city. People that had owned high rises here previously expected views. That is changing. Now they’re asking a premium when people have more options that ever to live in a high rise without ownership costs. A nice condo with a great view is worth more than a great condo staring into a college dorm.
I went back and did a double take. You can see three projects going up in that area including a crane for Camden paces. It’s wild how much residential is going in here.
