Me too! My family regularly shops at Costco and when we do have a big haul of stuff some times opt for Costco's free delivery service. The downtown Costco even has its own thread on this forum!

by looking at the gallery of the official the amazing brentwood website. Seems to be real photos from inside tower 1. Looks like there's no AC in the units.

Nope. A/C was never advertised for the first towers, as far as I can tell. All the other new projects in the area seem to have it.

No A/C even on the upper levels or penthouses?

No A/C is a dealbreaker for me at this stage in life. I lived without it for years and sweated through the summer with fans and open windows. Now I have central air and a smart thermostat with an app and I won't go back.

Yep, we are beyond that for any market rate condos these days. SFHs and maybe townhouses can get away with fans and good airflow with windows open, a lot of glass condos turn into greenhouses in the summer.

OEB Breakfast Co is hiring for a new restaurant that will open at Amazing Brentwood in 2020

They have one other location in the city in Vancouver at Marinaside Crescent. They have a number of locations in Calgary, Edmonton, Scottsdale and Saskatoon.

Hence I always said TAB needs to have other attractive elements to attract buyers. In this market flooded with presales all wooing for buyers. Smart buyers will buy around TAB that has AC ,yet still enjoy the convenience of TAB. I am quite sure future towers of TAB will have AC though , because City of Lougheed has AC. They also has a grocery store at the podium of T2 . Anxiously anticipating more exciting retails at TAB in the fall.

There's no mention of air conditioning in any of the already released marketing, so I can't imagine that tower 3 has A/C either.. nor tower 4, which is supposed to be solely rental + community center. Could be possible for the 5 and 6, the final towers (depending on how you count the shorter towers if they end up building out that space), but I wouldn't expect it.

The wraparound balconies will provide a lot of sun shading, maybe they expect that to be sufficient.
Note, however, that Concord Brentwood, which also has extensive wraparound balconies, has "central heating and cooling" in principal rooms (whatever that means - ie forced air or radiant?)

There is no AC in Tower 3. As long as you live on the North side you will be fine

I didn't know that. That's a nice option to have if they allow it.
It is really unattractive though...

Looks like TAB balcony is only 5 ft depth, hardly functional to provide shade especially for units facing south or west.

hmmm, why would strata approval be required for installing ductless AC?

That was my plan...
