Nice.
Not too jarring. It works with the building.

VCC is also finishing up their master plan for the downtown and Broadway campuses. It will be interesting to see what th

Such a hodge podge of buildings downtown it'll be interesting to see what they can do and they'll probably have lots of shadowing issues with Victory Square for anything built on the north side.

Incredible addition to a tired building. And decently visible to Georgia St traffic/pedestrians.

That's amazing. Absolutely love it.

Murals of this size are a wonder to have.

Soooo much better than the one on The Charleston. I hope it would get replaced by something like this.

Pic by me today:

I can see 2 cranes along Davie St.
- could be the Safeway site (yellow crane and white/blu crane)
of which yellow has topped out (?) but the buildings are too short for me to see.

The dark glass has all been removed from the building that's part of the renovated plaza of 401 West Georgia. (That's be so much better with clear glazing). They were also removing the glazing bars on The Post today, across the street - breaking glass in stereo!

A more mundane paint job on the back of 889 Homer,
being painted dark gray.
Wonder if it'll extend all the way up the tower?
The front of the podium (and left and right ends of the ally side)
were painted a greenish gray / limestone colour a number of years ago, so the dark gray is a significant change.

Pics by me today.

^^^ All those concrete walls should eventually be murals from top to bottom. Maybe by the time we get that park.
