Honestly, I don't care so much about the wall, but it's definitely a let down when you compare the north face to the south face. But, the one thing that really bothers me is that the top of the core sticks out above the jagged crown. They should've cut the core half of it's height with the roof to continue the jagged Schuylkill cliff inspiration

Oddly, I think the wall would have been fine if only they had wrapped the crown all the way around the building.

This is like 90% gorgeous and 10% stupid because of that wall. Imagine if a project like FMC got a wall like that. It would be embarrassing. They really could have done something better than that - even tho it's tucked a bit behind the Rez@Ritz. Not mad about the project though. I still have an overall very positive opinion on this building and it's execution, but what an AGGRAVATING oversight.

Has anyone heard anything about space on the top floor of this building? I see that there's a "Sky Lobby" on the website but that's about all the info I can find.

Here's a great photo of the double Philly two-tone phail, since city hall wasnt two-tone until after the renovation. It's actually so ironic that I almost love it. https://www.reddit.com/r/philadelphi...m_source=share

He's referring to the 1984-1990 City Hall and tower renovation.

Re City Hall: talk about whipping a very dead horse.... Let’s talk about American Commerce Center instead!
