I believe that is the skating rink area.

I had the fortune of getting a tour of the old Pendennis hotel (think UCAMA project) today. The new owners plan on completing the exterior, roof, windows, cladding etc. to ensure that it is weather tight and then will begin marketing it to potential tenants. The space is incredibly cool and full of character; the rooftop patio will be amazing. This along with Ken's project next door could be some of the most amazing space/views/patios/environments in the city.
