Proposed ≠ Construction. I will be happy if we see 30% of what is proposed constructed in the next 5 or so years. This time feels like the late 80's & early 90's when we had tons of proposals of impressive buildings, not sure if we had 30% built at that point so I don't expect every proposal to be built. Having said that, the long term looks good for more buildings and infill in the downtown. Hoping some Toronto area developers come to town to up the design game.

I don't have much hope that Rygar will ever build the Camden Towers project. They don't appear to have any track record anywhere. My suspicion is they are a virtual paper company and hope to flip the land and project to a real developer. Maybe a London company or a GTA based developer like Tridel or Menkes might be tempted to take it over and expand to the London market. Given the recent article about the increase in Toronto and Vancouver buyers cashing out and buying up real estate in London. A GTA developer may be Rygar's end game.

Partial tenant list and site map on the York website for their plaza development at Adelaide and Sunningdale. Williams Café, Dollarama, Mary Browns Chicken and a dental studio so far. I wouldn't be shocked to see a Shoppers go in beside Dollarama given that Masonville and Huron/Adelaide are the nearest ones.

Does anyone know of any pre-construction condo projects downtown? I was hoping to buy in Riverwalk but that turned into rentals. And 131 King St. is also rentals.

Pretty sure 515 Richmond is rental, or they likely would have info on their website. Rygar doesn't seem to have a website and neither does Ayerswood, so I'm guessing there aren't any condos on the horizon. Azure is probably the best you can do, but I'm assuming if you are looking at pre-construction, then the more immediate timing of that doesn't work for you.

I went to the London database and it says there is only one building under construction in the Core/inner city.

How many CRANES are there in the Core area as we speak and which developments are they?

There are only 2 cranes up in the core area at the moment. 40 York St and 515 Richmond St.

Victoria Park development plan underway.

Pitting the anti development, anti progressive NIMBY's against the pro development, city building crowd.

God, please tear down 560-562 Wellington. I do service work in those buildings and they are disgusting and outdated. I'd prefer the 17 story tower any day.

Seriously whoever voted for this councilor must be shaking their heads. White Oaks Road needs to be a 5 lane now south to the highway. The mental midgets at city hall have announced a traffic volume study.

Mo Salih posted on his Facebook today that a traffic volume study was done at Huron and Vesta was completed with the result it needs a traffic light. All set to be done in 2023 at the earliest lol.

So much for this council, no rapid transit, and can't even get roads expanded

Is the Free Press mixing up who is planning to do the 3 towers at 195 Dundas or did Tony Graat quietly give up on it? The article lists it as Old Oak.

Is there any info on the Tricar development at Southdale and wonderland? Or a separate feed?

None that I can find, not sure if the board has been re-organized in the intervening years and it might have been moved or something. This Projects Update page only goes back 10 years it seems, not sure where anything older than that would be.
