Those four homes being sacrificed on Price St. are long gone in anticipation of the widening of Elmwood. As a frequent user of Elmwood, I can't friggin' wait. I hope they'll soon add a third lane to serve traffic headed north on Elmwood to access the eastbound lanes of the TCH. Please please PLEASE!
A lesser known part of this project, according to some Price St. residents, is that they will also widen Price Street, with some of the few remaining home owners losing part of their front yards.
It's a tough pill to swallow for them, first they put a business park on what used to be their dead end street, now they are taking parts of some homeowners' yards in order to accommodate the massive increase in traffic that will no doubt ensue.

Any idea if its expected to be a 24/7 location or if it will have a coke freestyle machine?

As a connoisseur of Wendy's fine fast food... I'd say not 24/7, but maybe with a coke freestyle machine.

None of the NB locations are 24/7, nor are any in NS. It'll close somewhere between 10pm and 1am.

I think the coke machine is standard for standalone locations. There isn't one in the Dieppe location, but most others I've been to have had one.

Feels like the Pop companies are pushing those Freestyle machines as much as possible.

Wendys and Subway both have Freestyle machines. (at least the standalone stores with fountain pop available tend to have a version of a Free style machine). I noticed Burrito Jax had one as well before they closed. And Taco Boyz has one here in Freddy as well.

I'm not aware of any freestyle machines at fast food places in Moncton just the two circle k locations. If I'm wrong I'd love to know where to go

Big League burgers had a coke freestyle - in fact I think it may have been the first one in town, but I believe they recently switched to Pepsi.

2/2 Wendy's in Fredericton and 2/3 in Saint John have the machine.

Saw that there is some kind of Home Hardware sign up at the entrance of Granite drive.

Was to far away to read it all though.

There are trucks parked at the corner of Elmwood & Price St, marking the remaining trees next to the side walk. Apparently the City contacted the Petro Canada two days ago, inquiring about purchasing some of their land close to the road. Hopefully this means a 3rd lane/turning lane is being built.

Quite a few of the concrete forms for one of the buildings on Granite have been installed, as of lunch time today.

Was looking at the building permits for June and it mentions this "new medical office complex on Price Street off Elmwood Drive ($4.3 million". Anyone heard of this?

Here's the link the to the city of Moncton permits notice.

Nope, I haven't heard anything, but building permits can get issued relatively anonymously if there are no pre-existing zoning issues that would have to be dealt with at PAC.

I wonder where on Price Street this will be?
