Definitely not. I checked the RFP for evergreen, they had Port Moody central and IOCO station listed. So definitely could change.

If they end up going with "South Granville," there eventually needs to be room in the budget to change all the signage to "Downtown Granville" to avoid confusion.

Assume this is new. Also seems to indicate RBC will return to this development once it's finished after a temporary relocation to that retail unit further south on Granville.

Why are they installing trolley lines on 12th? If the tunnel is bored, would there be that much surface disruption?

They still need to do surface excavation for where the stations will be located.

It's not for all the buses that use Broadway. "To maintain access to transit along the Broadway corridor during the construction of the Broadway Subway Project, three routes will be detoured and new trolley wires will be installed to accommodate adjusted routes for the 14, 16, and 17 trolley buses. These changes are temporary for the duration of construction beginning in 2020". [source]

Will the trolley wires be removed once construction is complete?
No. The trolley overhead infrastructure will remain in place so that TransLink can reroute trolley services in the event of an accident or other disruption to the normal routing, and for flexibility to adjust routes if customer needs or behaviours change as needed in the future.

In the event of an accident, they'd change the route? Honest? And people would be alerted how? (And please no high-tech solutions, because not everyone of every age group has access to twitter, etc.)
