It doesn't sound that bad if you listen to the whole committee meeting yesterday.
There are 5 issues affecting the trains, but apparently the most time consuming issues to resolve are the Doors and Brake Valves.
RTG had provided an estimate to the city that they would be able to correct the Brake valve issue on 4 trains per day, starting yesterday. Assuming they are able to hit that, that means 9 days for the entire fleet. Then they will need to do the doors.
If the other issues are smaller, maybe that means 4-6 weeks to correct the issues for the entire fleet? Unless something else comes up.
