I know the marble stones are cool and all, but my god, why such an enormous house? It's ridiculous.

I don't have an issue with how large the house is, but it would be nice if there was even just a bit more space between them. Not just this house, but the neighboring house as well. Some of the other older houses, and more space on the sides and thus were able to have large trees. That ain't happening with any of the new houses.

I don't know if it's the lighting, but the marble looks less white than it did when it was stacked on the pallets. Whatever the case, I think it looks great.

Looks good, but I agree it's probably not marble. Still much better than the manufactured stone veneer that they sell nowadays.

I don't have any issues with the size of the house, though it's kind of a waste really, but it's not my money. I do wish there was a bit more space between the houses to keep Crescent Heights' green canopy to continue.

Agreed, any sort of solid stone, whether natural or manufactured is a big step up!

In addition to the props, also wanted to use this image to highlight just how prominent a location that curling club occupies. Reiterating my feelings on this from many years ago, the curling rink and parking all need to be rethought, possibly redeveloped along with the stairs going up the hill. I'm not saying all the parking should be removed, but I think we need a better anchor at that location. To better utilize the land, I continue to advocate for a multi-level terraced building up against the hill whose roof, a few steps down from the top of the hill, would function as an enhanced lookout.
