The low mountains on the horizon are the Santa Monica Mountains. On the other side of the mountains to the north is the huge San Fernando Valley. Mulholland Drive runs along the crest of the mountains. The Getty Center art museum campus can be seen in the hills as a distant cluster of white buildings above the Westwood/Brentwood skyline on the center-left. In the foreground is Culver City, where a lot of media companies have operations. Beverly Hills is just to the east (right) of Century City. Downtown L.A. is about 10 miles to the east (right) outside of the picture frame. Santa Monica, Venice Beach and the Pacific Ocean are about 5 miles west from the left side of the picture frame.
