It wasn't me, but good on those people for recognizing what a waste it is to build another overly large, and unnecessary mansion.

This place makes me want to cry. The only thing more wasteful than an overly large excessive mansion, is a crappy average suburban home built on a beautiful view road.

Good job with the photos above, Daemon. It's supposed to be quite nice on the weekend so hopefully by then things will look nice and green.

I don't really get the hate for some of these houses. Personally my preference is for something more... cozy? But I would never criticize someone for having a different preference to myself.

Rumour has it that the head of oncology and medical lead of the new cancer centre has submitted his resignation after his first meeting with Alberta Health and possibly the health minister. What type of constraints are in the forecast for the new cancer centre? It is important to note that the cancer centre isn't just about the building going up, but programs and staffing for the new integrated facility.

Is this a made up NDP rumor? The complex isn't due to open until 2024 or 2025 so it seems a tad early to me to be discussing staff now.

I didn't see the NDP mentioned anywhere, so I doubt that would be the case. Creating a false rumour has repercussions, because at the end of the day there will be a real person who will tell us if they are leaving or not.

Who is the head of oncology anyway? If we have a name we can do a quick search, I'm sure.

Where are you reading that the centre will open in 2025?
