Albus has been very supportive of new development, spreading out the homeless services, and improving the bike and ped infrastructure. Crews broke ground on a new 250-acre industrial park south of Denver International Airport. The first phase of the “JAG Logistics Center at DIA” can accommodate about 1 million square feet of development across 75 acres.

If you run a business that needs industrial space near the airport, this development is a big deal. Developed, owned and managed by J.A. Green Development Corp., the project is the first of its kind being constructed in a designated opportunity zone using an opportunity fund.

Depending on demand, more spec or built-to-suit facilities could go up. A future phase east of the first phase is a 172-acre site that could accommodate up to 2 million square feet of development.

In Denver, there's a lot of qualified land around 40th ave. If you'd like to see a map, Go Here, and then you'll have to zoom, zoom, zoom.

Tom and Brooke Gordon own the 14-acre property at 2535 E. 40th Ave. They plan to turn the industrial area into a community of 700 townhouses and apartments — 70 of them for people who aren’t rich — and 25,000 square feet for shops, restaurants and rent-free space for “community space” like a food cooperative. The development would also house the Wonderbound dance company, a new performing arts stage and 2 acres of park space.

With respect to today's elections, who should I call to make sure the ten ballots I mailed in got counted?

Candi CdeBaca appears to be the smartest person in the room, by a long shot. The notion that she doesn't offer solutions is a flat out lie.

BTW, anyone been to Hancock's website? What a joke. What does the guy stand for aside from coming correct?

No, not at all since I'm 2/3 white, 5/9 latino, 1/7 native american, 6/3 pacific islander, another 4/7 latino, 8/9 african american, and 1/2 cesarean. Plus my mother was a springer spaniel.
Being the smartest, which is impossible to know, is irrelevant. There are a lot of smart people that I would not want to be my councilperson.

I know the pricing on some of the new luxury apartments in Cherry Creek quickly gets up to $4 to $8 K per month for two bedroom and I believe some of those also went to $10K plus per month.

At $ 10k per month you could finance a $2 million mortgage! $2 million still buys you A LOT of house, condo, town home in Denver!

It's entirely possible we will have a runoff if Hancock can't scrape to 50%......
