Hmm could be, this does seem a bit early for a crane base. The parkade is 4 levels deep and this looks to only be 2ish.

Along Granville... Are those micropiles installed to support the Canada Line Station excavation pit or were they installed for this pit?

The micropiles were set for this project and was done a while ago just after they finished demo but before the excavation started.

Welcome to the forum, and its interesting set of definitions. On here, digging the hole doesn't count as construction. Once they start pouring concrete for foundations and columns, and a crane appears, then it's under construction.
